Job Role Description / Target Audience

The goals of the IBM Certified Specialist - Storage Sales N series Version 2 certification credential are to evaluate the test taker-s ability to:
  • assess the customer-s business needs;
  • identify the sales processes, tools, and resources required;
  • identify solution design and implementation;
  • describe the Storage System portfolio; and
  • identify the primary competitors. 
Individuals who seek this certification will be IBM or Business Partner Storage Sales representatives who are experienced in selling IBM N series products. 
The recommended prerequisite knowledge is 1 year selling IBM N series products.  


Recommended Prerequisite Skills

The purpose of the IBM Certified Specialist - Storage Sales N series certification  is to insure that candidates demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify, sell, and implement the N Series storage solutions:  N series Unified Storage - NAS , SAN, iSCSI, Tape Libraries and Virtual Tape Management software - SNAP modules, and TSM.
