IBM Certified Specialist - IBM
BladeCenter V4

This certification validates the skills required to plan and
design, install, configure and maintain IBM BladeCenter systems. The IBM
BladeCenter Certified Specialist will provide solution design and
implementation support for those who work with the IBM BladeCenter
technologies. This certified person will also work to provide longer-term
technical support activities including problem solving and
resolution.
It is recommended that
no matter what the experience level, all candidates should assess their skills
by reading carefully through the objectives of the test (see the
"Objectives" Tab), assess any learning gaps, and use the training
resources provided (See the Training Resources Tab) to appropriately prepare. A
complete exam can be downloaded for $10 to assess readiness for the actual exam
(see Sample/Assessment Test Tab).
To
attain the IBM Certified Specialist - IBM
BladeCenter® V4 certification, candidates must pass 1
test.

- Operating System
Knowledge (Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or 2003, Linux, AIX,
VMware)
- Knowledge of Operating System deployment
strategies
- Knowledge of Networking/SAN
connectivity
- Knowledge of IBM BladeCenter Module
Options
- Experience with IBM
Director
