This intermediate level certification is intended for system administrators that perform the installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the WebSphere Process Server runtime environment. This includes product installation, configuration and deployment of business processes and adapters, connecting to back-end resources and basic troubleshooting. These individuals tune the WebSphere Process Server runtime environment with respect to resource utilization, scaling, clustering, deployment environments, and load balancing as appropriate.
This system administrator is generally self-sufficient and is able to perform most of the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.
To attain the IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Process Server, V6.1 certification, candidates must pass 2 tests. - Good understanding of Business Process and Business Process Choreographer
- Good understanding of Business Flow Manager and Human Task Manager
- Good understanding of WebSphere Process Server Architecture (SOA core, supporting services, and service components)
- Good understanding of Business Rules Manager
- Good understanding of Common Event Infrastructure (CEI)
- Good understanding of WebSphere Adapters
- Good understanding of WebSphere Platform Messaging
- Basic knowledge of WebSphere Integration Developer application development life cycle
