This certification is for application developers who are new to developing Domino applications, and who will be using Domino Designer 8. The IBM Certified Associate Application Developer - Lotus Notes Domino 8 should be able to demonstrate the fundamental skills necessary to create and modify a single database application that can be accessed by both Notes and browser clients.
Recommended Prerequisite Skills
* Understand and use the basic elements of the Domino 8 and Domino Designer environment
* Create a database and apply database management functions and tools
* Create and modify design elements
* Apply and work with programming formulas, functions, tools, and features
* Secure applications
