An IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator is the lead DBA
for the DB2 products on one or more of the following platforms: Linux, UNIX
(including AIX, HP-UX, and Sun Solaris), and Windows. This individual has
extensive experience as a DBA and extensive knowledge of DB2 Universal
Database. This person is capable of performing the advanced tasks such as
performance, high availability, and networking that are
required.
To attain
the IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2
Universal Database V8.1 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows certification, candidates achieve the IBM Certified
Database Adminstrator - DB2 Universal Database V8.1 for Linux, UNIX, and
Windows and pass 1 test.
