for IBM i Operating System has experience in sales and
sales support roles. The successful candidate has 12-18 months of
strong product experience, experience assessing customer business requirements,
utilizing sales tools and resources, presenting solution proposals and managing
customer relationships.

The IBM Certified Specialist should have
the following minimum skills: - Involved in 8-12 Power Systems sales
opportunities featuring i5/OS, including new installations and
upgrades.
- Ability to describe Power Systems, i5/OS and other
operating systems, and IBM middleware solutions (e.g. Domino, WebSphere,
Rational) at a high level.
- Ability to describe Integration
possibilities utilizing i5/OS (e.g. Windows, Linux) at a high level.
