IBM Certified Systems Expert - High Availability for AIX Technical Support and Administration -v2

The IBM Certified System Expert - High Availability for AIX - Technical Support and Administration v2 is a person, with at least two (2) years experience administering highly available environments running PowerHA versions 6 and 7.

The successful candidate has strong AIX administrations skills at AIX 6 and 7, strong problem determination skills, and can diagnose problems typically encountered in this environment.  Additionally, this person has good LVM and TCP/IP skills within AIX and can communicate related concepts to colleagues on networking and storage management teams.  

The IBM Certified System Expert - High Availability for AIX - Technical Support and Administration v2 designs, implements and tests HA clusters, creates and manages HA clusters, and is comfortable backing up, restoring, ugrading and migrating the HA environment.  He or she has good knowledge of virtualization as it applies to highly available environments, but is not expected to have deep skills in virtualization or in managing external networking and storage infrastructures.
