Job Role Description / Target Audience
This certification targets intermediate level J2EE developers, architects or consultants with extensive product knowledge, who design or develop portal solutions. These individuals have a breadth of knowledge in operational services and skills for IBM WebSphere Portal V7.0. The audience is experienced developers familiar with Java, the use of the JSR 286 specification, and security concepts.
Recommended Prerequisite Skills
Candidates should have solid understanding of J2EE application development, including the ability to read and understand servlets and JavaServer Pages (JSPs) and an understanding of the World Wide Web functionality, and be familiar with Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) and Dojo. Candidates should also have a basic understanding of Rational Application Developer 7.5
