Autonomic computing and Service Integrity

Service Integrity™ is a leading provider of business process monitoring, analytics, decision support, and management software for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) through their SIFT™ product line. SIFT takes the risk out of service oriented enterprises through agile monitoring of information flowing across complex business processes. SIFT enables rapid problem resolution and ensures availability for optimal customer service. Service Integrity’s customers include HP, Novell, JP Morgan Chase, and Pfizer.

Patent-pending XML message sensing technology, coupled with a flexible reporting and alerting platform, allows SIFT to measure and dissect any information flowing through an enterprise. It is powered by a unique, run-time modifiable event-based rules engine that analyzes business communications in real-time.

SIFT is integrated with IBM WebSphere® and Tivoli®. By incorporating the IBM Autonomic Computing Common Base Event Technology, SIFT provides a top-to-bottom solution that is able to determine SOA application-layer level-of-service issues in real-time, and direct the IBM platform to take corrective steps.

“The rapid expansion of Service Oriented Architectures, coupled with competitive necessity to evolve toward on-demand delivery models, have stretched current enterprise architectures to the limit. Combined Service Integrity and IBM Autonomic Computing solutions enable the agile enterprise to guarantee availability in these loosely coupled and highly leveraged environments”
- Michael Madden, president and CEO, Service Integrity

Service Integrity solution

SIFT, the leading business process management and analytics platform, provides a deeper view into Service-Oriented Architectures than traditional solutions. It allows decision makers in IT, and line-of-business managers, to make critical decisions in real time. The embedded analytics engine also allows companies to drill down into the extracted data and perform "what if" analysis on the fly, without waiting for the traditional batch approach of business intelligence systems. The SIFT architecture uses patent-pending, non-intrusive stream sensors, that are able to feed the analytics and rules engines, to adapt to changing conditions and business processes, in real time.
