No troublesome installation
You do not need to use a complicated installation routine. All you have to do is to click the link on the Web page. The necessary software components will be downloaded automatically and then Easy Web Browsing starts by itself. The automatic downloading is done only the first time, so once you have finished downloading the necessary software components, you can then start Easy Web Browsing immediately.
Easy operation
- All you need to do is move the mouse pointer to the desired sentence to read it.

While the baby boom generation may be growing older, its use of IT is not diminishing. With older people remaining in the workforce longer and an increasing number of services being offered on the Web, businesses and government organizations cannot afford to lose touch with this population. They must offer accessible technologies not only to conform with regulations and standards, but also to help people with disabilities and the aging workforce remain active and socially integrated.
The goal is to enable people with low vision to access Web sites without having to purchase and install a special product beforehand, and the IBM Research lab in Tokyo has developed a technology that does just that. For heightened security, this technology uses ActiveX objects with digital signatures.

Easy Web Browsing technology has been deployed in Japan in local governments to improve citizen service as part of the e-Japan strategy.
