Overview
This IBM consulting engagement involves a more extensive engagement than the discovery workshop service (typically four to six weeks). A team of accessibility experts from IBM conducts interviews and surveys with your key stakeholders to document your organization's "accessibility as-is state." Dimensions of customer service and program delivery, organization, human capital management, business processes and Information Technology (IT) are analyzed. In a subsequent customer visioning workshop, IBM brings together your key stakeholders to clearly define and document your company's overall future goals related to accessibility. Key organizational dependencies are documented as well. IBM then performs an extensive gap analysis between current and future states and develops a proposed future state.
After conducting the gap analysis, IBM will draft an extensive strategy and roadmap plan with prioritized recommendations, suggested schedules and a detailed plan for how to close the gaps. Some recommendations can be incorporated into Component Business Models (CBMs) your enterprise can use to architect business process transformation that includes accessibility.
