IBM has integrated accessibility into our product-development process. Completed accessibility checklists are required at key phases of the development process and accessibility verification is integrated into testing and validation procedures.

Below are just a few examples of our compliant product portfolio, which are capable-when used in accordance with IBM's associated documentation-of satisfying the applicable requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, provided that any assistive technology used with the product properly interoperates with it.

The Accessibility Edition helps ensure Web Site user accessibility by monitoring for over 170 accessibility checks. It helps determine the site's level of compliance with government standards and displays results in user-friendly dashboards and reports.



Lotus® Symphony

The Symphony product set has been developed to meet current Accessibility standards. It is also compatible with the Open Document Format (ODF). The Symphony Web site also incorporates features that enable its interoperability with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
