Below are just a few examples of our compliant product portfolio, which are capable-when used in accordance with IBM's associated documentation-of satisfying the applicable requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, provided that any assistive technology used with the product properly interoperates with it.

Rational Policy Tester Accessibility Edition
An edition of IBM Rational Policy Tester

The Accessibility Edition helps ensure Web Site user accessibility by monitoring for over 170 accessibility checks. It helps determine the site's level of compliance with government standards and displays results in user-friendly dashboards and reports.

Lotus Symphony
Web Site and Product Accessibility

The Symphony product set has been developed to meet current Accessibility standards. It is also compatible with the Open Document Format (ODF). The Symphony Web site also incorporates features that enable its interoperability with screen readers and other assistive technologies.

Lotus Learning Management System — The Lotus Learning Management System (LMS) provides accessible software in compliance with Section 508. Features which help make the system accessible include:

• Keyboard navigation to anywhere in the LMS.
• Browser settings for larger fonts are respected for low vision users.
• LMS accessibility via screen readers, such as JAWS.
• The ability to operate the system without style sheets, allowing the user to override the colors with browser settings.
